Laracon EU

Is Just Around the Corner

If you – like us – are enthusiastic about Laravel and have always wanted to get to know Amsterdam, we have a tip for you: Come to Laracon EU!

At the end of August, it’s finally time again: for Laracon EU! This conference is the largest European Laravel event of the year and attracts more than 750 visitors – among them, obviously, the byte5 team. Will you be there too?

Laracon EU is an event for web developers, who are aiming at creating sophisticated applications with the Laravel framework. The conference is all about networking, discussions and sharing valuable knowledge.

The Laravel conference has developed into an impressive event over the last few years. And 2018 will be no exception. Laracon EU will take place on three consecutive days (29 through 31 August). It starts on August 29, with a workshop day. There is a separate ticket available for attending one of the five workshops. The two conference days Thursday and Friday are then reserved for interesting talks about the PHP framework. There is also an unconference track, where visitors can present their own topics in small time slots.

The conference takes place in 5000 square metre Kromhouthal, located in the bay of the IJsselmeer, and offers a variety of in-depth tech talks on several tracks. This year, more than 24 international speakers will discuss the Laravel topics that fascinate them the most. Of course, Laravel founde Taylor Otwell will also be there. The extensive programme can be found on the official Laracon EU website.

There will be over 30 exhibitors from all over the world who will demonstrate their Laravel projects. Of course, you won’t miss good foods and drinks either.

What exactly can you expect? Here is a clip from last year:

You don't want to miss all this? Then get your ticket before it’s too late! Just like last year, you can design your newly bought ticket yourself. In addition to your unique experiences on the Laracon EU, you also have a unique badge to remember them!

To get you in the mood, we would like to invite you to our 9th Laravel Meetup Rhein-Main on 15 August 2018 in our office in the east of Frankfurt. The topic? “Laravel on Fire – How an Open Source Framework Finds Its Way into the Enterprise Segment”. Register for the meetup here.

By the way, to get you in the right mood, you will find all of the Laracon EU 2017 sessions on YouTube.

And Laracon fans should follow this blog: In September, we will host the 10th Laravel Meetup Rhein-Main, which will focus on everything our experts have learnt and seen at Laracon EU 2018.
