OpenClaw for enterprise

At the same time, OpenClaw is set to continue as an open-source project under a foundation supported by OpenAI. Meta is also embracing this trend and has positioned Manus as an agent project, integrating it into its platform ecosystem.

OpenClaw gives us the opportunity to manage agent infrastructure ourselves, rather than being tied to closed platforms.

Peter Steinberger has a bold vision: rather than simply using AI as a chatbot, he wants it to actually carry out tasks. And to achieve this, Steinberger has laid the groundwork with OpenClaw, which was originally called Clawbot. OpenClaw is an open-source AI agent framework that allows you to control agents via chat and equip them with skills so that they don’t just respond, but actually perform tasks within your systems.

We have been using and exploring OpenClaw ourselves in an internal sandbox since a very early release, even before it came to the attention of the wider public. Our CEO, Christian Wendler, and our CTO, Marcel Wege, are already fully immersed in it, testing workflows, pushing boundaries and focusing specifically on what really matters in the end: control, reliability and utility. After all, these three factors are key to determining the solution’s suitability for use in businesses.

What’s particularly exciting is that OpenClaw is designed to be model-agnostic. You can use different AI models and tailor the setup to suit your requirements. It feels like a toolbox for agent automation, not just another tool that locks you into a single platform.
