byte5 Among the Best

in the European Business Awards 2019

The jury of the European Business Awards was impressed with byte5’s unlimited paid vacation policy. Awarding byte5 with the “Ones to Watch” award, the EBA jury considers byte5 to be one of the best companies in all of Europe.

byte5 is one of the “Ones to Watch”! byte5 passed the preliminary round of this year’s European Business Awards (EBA) with flying colours: With its multi-level trust movement – and above all the unlimited paid vacation model –, the Frankfurt-based service provider for web solutions applied in the “Workplace and People Development” category and prevailed against thousands of competitors.

The European Business Awards are the world’s largest and oldest cross-sector competition for companies and annually recognises special achievements in several categories. This year is the 12th cycle for the EBA. Last year, over 111,000 companies from 34 countries were assessed.

The main objective of the EBA is to support the best companies in Europe – regardless of their size or their branch. By doing so, the EBA contribute to the development of a stronger, more successful, more innovative and ethically sound business world in Europe. For the initiators, it is clear that companies play a key role in overcoming important problems that affect the whole world. The three values innovation, success and ethics are therefore at the core of the European Business Awards’s philosophy.

It is these basic values that convinced the jury of the “Workplace and People Development” category to vote byte5 to the „Ones to Watch“ list. The jury acknowledged byte5’s outstanding achievements in remodelling the vacation model and the progressive approach of the “No Pain Policy”. The result: byte5 has a spot in the top 3 % of the more than 100,000 EBA applications and consequently one of the best companies in Europe.

“The companies chosen as ‘Ones to Watch’ are the most inspirational, successful and dynamic in Europe,” said Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards. He continued: “The talent and tenacity at the heart of these businesses creates jobs and drives Europe’s prosperity. This ‘Ones to Watch’ list of excellence is a benchmark of success for the rest of the European business community.”

byte5 has now taken the first step and can hope to emerge as the best German company in the “Workplace and People Development” category. If successful, byte5 would then take part in the gala in December as the German winner of the category. This is when the European Business Awards will be presented to their respective winners in all 18 categories in Warsaw.

It fills us with pride to be appointed the title “Ones to Watch”. We want to thank the jury of the European Business Awards for appreciating our progressive work models!
