Why This Summit Was Special
It finally felt like a true sense of community had returned to the Umbraco ecosystem in the DACH region. Partners from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland gathered at our Frankfurt office. Just as important: since this year, the community is officially supported by Rieke, Umbraco’s new Partner Manager, a strong signal to all partners across the region.
Our CEO, Christian Wendler, opened the event, followed by Mats Persson, CEO of Umbraco, who shared insights into the platform’s potential for businesses and its ongoing evolution. Topics like Engage and Commerce, the MCP server, and many other innovations took center stage. For us as partners, this offered an exciting sneak peek into the future, and a clear indication of how Umbraco continues to position itself as a flexible and scalable solution.

Practical Insight: Our Client Case with Die ZEIT
We are particularly proud of the contribution from Dennis and Marcel from our team. They offered insights into our client case with Die ZEIT, a project that showcases just how powerful Umbraco can be in complex scenarios.
The response was tremendous: plenty of conversations, lively discussions — exactly what a Partner Summit is all about.
Our Cheese Night - the Umbraco Community Meetup DACH
After an intensive summit day, the evening continued seamlessly with the Cheese Night, our Umbraco Community Meetup for the DACH region. It all kicked off when the Rabbit, Umbraco’s mascot, handed Silvano the 39 kg wheel of Parmesan he had won at the Codegarden conference.
The Cheese Night also offered plenty of professional insights.
Emma and Sebastiaan from Umbraco gave an overview of Umbraco v17 and demonstrated once again how community members can actively contribute to the platform.
Silvano from our team presented the Umbraco MCP Server, affectionately called your friendly AI. It is a topic that sparks curiosity and one where we see a lot of potential. Both talks are available on YouTube.
What do we take away from this day?
