Umbraco-Festival Deutschland 2020

Cancelled

Given the current situation, we have decided not to host the German Umbraco festival this year. Here's everything you need to know.

You already guessed it: Umbraco-Festival Deutschland has to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Not Cancelled, but Postponed: UFD20

Today we would like to address the loyal visitors to our German Umbraco festival and our other events with a message that you often read these days: Due to the current situation, we have decided to suspend this year's Umbraco-Festival Deutschland and all other events byte5 had planned. The eighth UFD will not take place on 25 September 2020 as originally planned, but only in 2021.

UFD21: Spreading the Umbraco Spirit for the Eighth Time

The byte5 team – which thanks to our serverless infrastructure has entirely been working from home since mid-March while staying just as connected as before – has already started planning and preparing the upcoming festival of 2021. The Umbraco community and the Umbraco headquarter are continuing to work tirelessly to develop our favourite open source CMS and its associated products, so we have plenty of reasons to look forward to the new UFD edition of next year. We will let you know the new date in good time both here and on the byte5 company blog.

Even if there is so much uncertainty at the moment – to us, one thing is certain: UFD is coming back and as usual with its practice-oriented content, many networking opportunities and of course that Umbraco spirit we all love so much. We look forward to seeing you there – until then, stay healthy!

By the way: Like the UFD, the world's largest Umbraco conference, Codegarden, has to be suspended this year.
