What Are the Vacancies’ Profiles?

Growing During the Global Crisis?

Despite the corona pandemic, to a certain extent normality can return in many areas of life with every month that passes. Now more than ever, companies are relying on promising digitisation projects and are strengthening their e-commerce solutions in this heyday of online trading.

We also see this in our daily work. Customers such as toy manufacturer Carrera, energy supplier LEW or Stuttgart Airport rely on byte5 for realising their Microsoft-based web projects with reason: as a multiple Microsoft Gold Partner, we are used to bailing out stuck projects and developing business-critical web solutions. In accordance with our current project load, we are now looking for new people to support our existing team.

How Does byte5 Work in the Time of Corona?

byte5-Meeting mit Abstandsregelung während der Corona-Pandemie

During the COVID-19 lockdown back in spring 2020, the whole team worked temporarily from home – which was no significant change for our employees due to our cloud-based infrastructure. Still now, every byte5-er is free to spend their time working from home or the office in Frankfurt’s east end.

With this regulation, we returned to our flexible way of working, which we already practiced before the spread of the coronavirus: our team members decide for themselves where they work based on their tasks and needs. The same flexibility applies to their working hours. Our corporate culture also enables our unlimited paid vacation model, which allows everyone byte5-er to take any amount of paid annual leave as long as they respect our no pain policy.

In the Frankfurt office, byte5 takes care of the well-being and safety of its employees in accordance with official regulations and guidelines. This includes sufficient disinfectants, a supply of face masks and giving up our beloved team breakfast for the time being. Our large office is divided into small team offices so that social distancing can be practiced with ease.

In addition, the management consisting of Christian Wendler and Chris Köhler continues to practice transparency by keeping the team up-to-date with all internal developments in their own vlog series. Through regular video conferences and digital team meetings, we ensure that our team members experience a feeling of belonging and a sense of unity, especially during this time.

Job Openings at byte5

Our way of working is agile and bottleneck-oriented. This is how we help our customers achieve real added value.

It is our strong suit that as an international team, the byte5 team is varied in origins, skills, and backgrounds. Speaking English with our team is hence no problem. However, since our clients mainly come from the German-speaking area, it is crucial that every byte5-er speak German at a C1 level.
