Best Open Source CMS in 2014

Umbraco was honoured with the prestigious Critics’ Choice CMS Award 2014 in the category “Best Open Source .NET CMS” by a jury of industry experts. The jury paid special attention to the current technological innovations and the increasing spread of Umbraco in 2014.

The Critics’ Choice CMS Awards are presented annually by a specialist jury in numerous categories and is one of the most important awards in the content management industry. However, it is also interesting that the current major changes in version 7.2 could not yet be taken into account when it was awarded. Umbraco is and remains a technical pioneer in the open source CMS sector in the Microsoft environment.
