Copetri Convention -

People, Transformation & Innovation

After a break of more than two years, our event budget was used again on 31 May and 1 June: Jessie, Chris and Lea visited the Copetri Convention on the Fredenhagen grounds in Offenbach.

In the sunshine and with great motivation after the on-site event break, people from a wide variety of fields and sectors came together in the old Offenbach industrial complex to exchange ideas, network and learn. Expo booths, chill-out area, talks, discussions and of course the after-show party offered plenty of opportunities to do so.

Tools and Cultural Development

For Jessie, as a recruiting and employer branding expert, the main focus was on the topics of recruiting after the Corona pandemic, tools and the combination of marketing and recruiting. The areas of New Work and New Pay but also Web 3.0 were among the trend topics of the event for her.

Dealing with Mistakes and Sustainablility

For Lea, the two days of the festival also were about New Work and New Pay, but also about employee communication. She was also able to gain a variety of insights on the topic of sustainability and inspiration on how a sustainable attitude can be anchored in the company. Another highlight was the Fuckup Night, where five founders reported on their failures and, above all, the lessons learned from them.

Future Issues and Corporate Development

For Chris, the focus was on the trend topics of new work, new pay and digitalisation. The opening keynote by digital expert and author Sascha Lobo was particularly memorable. Under the title "How the web is changing the world and what that means for work and transformation", he addressed various future scenarios. Where does Germany stand on the path to digitalisation, what does it mean for us personally and how do we react to the constant change?

Chris was able to answer these questions concretely for byte5 after the following days:

After two days full of input, exchange and delicious ice cream in a great location, Jessie, Lea and Chris are now looking forward to ringing in the festival season with their own byte5 event. More details will follow shortly.
